New Creation World Outreach Church was started as Trinity Church in October of 1967 when Pastor Cleon Laughlin and his family returned to the United States after serving as missionaries for 12 years in the primitive, tropical island of Papua New Guinea in the South Pacific.

After settling in North Mankato, the Laughlin's started a new church in an old mansion, which housed the YMCA. The main thrust in those early days was reaching boys and girls with the gospel through Sunday School and summer camps.

During those very early testing times, God gave them the promise of John 12:32, "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."

The subsequent three years were difficult - yet exciting and supernatural things were happening; the Lord proved to be faithful. As, many people were coming to the Lord the search for a permanent location culminated in 1971 with the completion of a chapel in North Mankato- built entirely by the families attending at the time. This building was soon packed to capacity with many teenagers and adults coming to Christ through the Jesus People Movement and the Charismatic Movement. God was building His church.

The need soon arose for more space. Construction had begun in 1974 to enlarge our building to seat 300 with a large auditorium and a Sunday School room downstairs. Later, offices and another classroom were added, but this building was also full and it became evident that a bigger space was needed.

In 1988, God miraculously gave us a large steel building on highway 169 to develop into a large church complex. On March 10, 1991 we moved into the newly remodeled auditorium; what a blessing it was! Surely, physical growth and expansion is the most visible evidence of a church whose spiritual life is flowing with the presence of God.

In January of 2004, Trinity Church officially changed its name to New Creation World Outreach Church. On October 3, 2004, New Creation World Outreach Church merged with Victory Life Church - another great work of the Lord.

Today, New Creation World Outreach Church is a thriving church with near 800 active members. Its numerous outreaches and ministries reach people from all walks of life as well as people around the globe. It is our desire to be an authentic expression of the Kingdom of Jesus in the 21st century.
