One Thing Campaign

The One Thing Campaign was launched on May 6, 2007 through the inspiration of a word from the Lord and a vision released through our Senior Pastor David Laughlin to "get ready for action." He received this word in the latter half of 2006 and understood this to mean practically that NCWOC needed to be released from debt. The Lord released further direction for the repair and beautification of the front of the facility as well as the construction of a prayer room.

"One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple."

Update

The frontal maintenance work and beautification of the edifice was completed on August 1st, 2009 absolutely debt free! The North side of the church building was also included in the face lift project and is quite spectacular. To add to the beauty of this project, landscaping was done around the building. An eye-catching LED sign was erected on the grounds to further express the energy and excitement of the ministry of New Creation! There have been numerous testimonies of people in the community noting the beauty of this project as well as those realizing for the first time that this facility was indeed a church building.

We are so pleased with this visual expression of what the Lord is doing at New Creation and in this city!

The Potter's House of Prayer

The Potter's House of Prayer is the capstone of the One Thing Campaign as it involves the construction and establishment of a 24/7 prayer room. Pastor David Laughlin released this vision for the prayer room:

• The prayer room would be a Place of Communion
• The prayer room would be a Place of Praise
• The prayer room would be a Place of Peace
• The prayer room would be a Place of Prayer
• The prayer room would be a Place to Tarry
• The prayer room would be a Place of Power

Prayer is central to the vision and mission of New Creation World Outreach Church! It is our Pastors' heart desire that the historic establishment of this prayer room would become a gift to the community. We are currently in the process of designing and refining the layout for the Potter's House of Prayer. Later this spring, plans and designs will be unveiled for this ground-breaking project. Please check back often for updates and pray about your part in advancing the apostolic vision through the ministry of prayer in this region!
