Encounter is a community for 18–24-year-olds who want to follow Jesus in the middle of real life. We believe the Gospel changes everything and that Jesus is worth giving everything for.

College and young adulthood are full of big questions: Who am I? What do I care about? What is my purpose? Where am I headed? We believe those questions, and the ones you have not even asked yet, all find their true answer in Jesus through His life, death, and resurrection.

Here you will find friends to walk with, space to grow, and opportunities to encounter God not just once but in the everyday moments of life.

    Encounter launched in 2009 on the MNSU campus with one mission: have God encounter the next generation. We are a diverse discipleship movement where everyone can find friends and a place to belong. Level up your faith as we eat together, dive into Scripture, and pray with power.

    Encounter is led by Pastor Anthony Passante, Burabari Kordah, and Ali Kordah. From day one, they have believed that college students and young adults can change the world when they encounter Jesus. They are passionate about seeing a generation rise with bold faith and unshakable hope. Through vision, prayer, and intentionality, they are committed to helping people experience the life-changing power of Jesus.
